I first came to K&L to check it out with my friend who's a member of one of their wine clubs. We were impressed by the selection of wines and spirits available in the store, but even more so by the tasting that they were having that day. The host, Mandana, was the ABSOLUTE best! She was not only extremely well versed in her knowledge of wines, but she took the time to explain each one in detail while answering all of our many questions. We've been back to a few times since then literally because of her! Even when she's not hosting a tasting, she always goes out of her way to say hello and talk to us. K&L is great, but seeing Mandana is always the highlight of my visits :)

A visible online presence gave me brand awareness, but proximity to favorites places in and around Hollywood makes them accessible for the future, especially the free parking! Over the years, I've looked up specific wines on Google and like to compare prices and read reviews. Among my favorites include Wine.com, Wine Searcher, and K & L. My personal tastes run from everyday sippers to pricey Brunello di Montalcino, depending on what vintages are worth acquiring. My first visit here was motivated by curiosity and hoping to gain familiarity with the layout. Inside, it's nice and dark, meaning sunlight, an enemy of wine longevity, is neatly mitigated. I took in the typical wine shop setup with bargains close to the front and nicely marked sections by country and region, when applicable. Italian first, that's my MO. I saw a nice variety, some Brunello producers not commonly seen, and for reasonable, if somewhat higher prices than other types, but that's the norm. I wandered every row and took it all in. In the French sections, I found a few great values for Vouvray and Cru Beaujolais, regions known for excellence and still very reasonable prices ($18‐25). I found the cashier really friendly when I checked out and may get around to settle up a store profile. I had to buy a bag of ice at a market on Yucca because keeping wine cool on hot days is vital, and even insulated Trader Joe's bags need that extra help. I'm happy to report that I made it home hours later with wine at a safe temperature. Next time, I'll bring ice packs and extra insulation.

The website is epic. Order from multiple store'sinventory and have it shipped to your local store for pick up. They'll hold it for a long time. The Hollywood store has a good selection of wines that are well organized. Small selection of spirits but well picked. Guaranteed to find good bottles here, Free parking in a big lot behind the store.

I wish I lived near you - you have always had excellent customer care and knowledgeable staff who know their stuff. I like going in to discover treasures- and if I only really need a variety of Sancerre- you've got so many types to choose from Thank you for always going the extra mile when I'm unsure and making you work so hard to sell me a bottle - I appreciate it especially when you've got customers buying huge shopping carts full of wines

If you're anywhere near Sunset and Vine, this should be your go-to place for wine. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I joined a friend (member of their wine club) for a tasting that was exceedingly informative, yet casual and fun.

This store is well organized and it's a store I believe I will visit again. This is one of those stores I can spend hours in. The selection of wine and spritz are amazing. The store is uniquely organized by the region of the origin of the wine. The staff is great at assisting you with your purchase. I believe his name is Elliot who assist me with my purchases. He was knowledgeable of the wine in the store. It a small store with a great selection of hard to find wine and spritz. Not expensive! Responsible price. There is plenty of parking.

Such a great store filled with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's worth coming to Hollywood for and I like to avoid Hollywood. I especially love their varietals from Europe. Definitely a specialty and not something you'll be likely to find in grocery store wine aisles. I'm in love with wines from Croatia and Portugal and this has become a great spot for that indulgence. On a recent visit they actually didn't have any Croatian wine, but they had 4 from Slovenia so I bought those and they were all lovely. Also a surprise in the under $25 price point. I encourage you to come in and make some new discoveries. Online shopping and curbside pickup is super easy and there is plenty of parking.
